About us:

An international team of writers is looking for an experienced content fan who could help us maintain, reorganise and lead our content department. We are a team of 20, writing 900,000+ words a month in 15 different languages. We plan to make these numbers much larger and you would be the person to help us make it happen!

Responsibilities:

– Overtake, manage and improve the workflow of the content department that consists of managers, copywriters and freelance talent;

– Maintain the balance between the speed and quality of the department’s content creation process; 

– Regularly evaluate the performance of our in-house writers and editors;

– Interview and evaluate new candidates;

– Assign incoming tasks to the members of the team and overlook deadline-sensitive tasks;

– Develop workflows and checklists for new directions that our team might undertake.  

Requirements:

– 3+ years of previous experience as an Editor, Content Marketer, Team Lead, Content Manager, Head of Content or similar position;

– Must have previous experience in managing a team of writers and/or editors;

– Advanced or native-like proficiency of the English language, any other language would be a huge plus;

– A degree in any of the following fields, or a working experience with the equivalent term: Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Philology, Linguistics, etc.;

– Experience in organising complex workflows using various software and tools (Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, Notion, etc.);

– Effective communication skills: written, verbal and in the realm of Excel and Google Sheets;

– Analytical thinking.
