We are looking for an experienced and ambitious UX/UI Design Lead to join our incredible team. This role will start as a Design Lead on projects with a planned transition into a Design Manager role. You will be responsible for leading, managing, and nurturing a team of designers while overseeing multiple projects to ensure high-quality deliverables.

What you’ll be doing?

This role requires a strong focus on management, team leadership, and project oversight rather than hands-on design tasks. While a solid design background is essential, the primary responsibilities involve guiding the team, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining design quality across multiple projects.

UX/UI Design Lead responsibilities:

• Lead & Mentor team of designers (1-2 designers of Middle levels);
• Manage 1-3 projects simultaneously;
• UX Research of competitors’ products;
• System Architecture Design for various web applications and websites, primarily in SaaS and Fintech domains;
• Delivering demos to stakeholders;
• Delivering UX/UI Mockups to the Front-end team;
• Estimating scope of tasks, lead other designers, keeping track of deadlines.

Design Manager responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of 15+ designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing design culture;
• Manage and ensure the quality of all design deliverables across multiple projects within the agency;
• Conduct performance reviews, resource planning, and workload distribution to optimize team efficiency;
• Estimate project scope, set realistic deadlines, and track progress to ensure on-time delivery;
• Make hiring decisions, conduct interviews, and ensure the team is growing with the right talent and expertise;
• Lead design initiatives, including UX research, system architecture design, and UI/UX mockups.

What is needed?

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with B2-C1 English proficiency to interact with international clients;
• Proven experience leading and managing design teams, ideally in an agency environment;
• Strong understanding of UX research, product architecture, and system design in different domains including SaaS and Fintech;
• Experience in creating design systems or UI kits based on the Atomic Design approach, including the integration and management of design tokens for scalability and consistency;
• Ability to balance creative vision with business goals and technical constraints.
• A portfolio showcasing outstanding UX/UI projects, including well-structured web applications and websites;
• Experience in marketing-oriented design, including website optimization for conversion rates and user engagement.
