We are looking for a Head of Design to lead the operational execution and strategic structuring of the product design function. In this role, you will be responsible for managing resources, planning delivery, and setting performance metrics for Product Design, UX Research, and UX Writing, ensuring that design delivery aligns with business goals. You will work closely with the Design Director, as well as product and engineering leadership, to translate the design strategy into a scalable operational model.

- Experience managing teams as a design management or design operations leader
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—the ability to advocate for design at the leadership level and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with capacity planning, resource allocation, and budget management
- Ability to define and track metrics for design function performance and delivery quality
- Structural thinking—the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and clear team goals
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment
Обов'язки
- Be responsible for the operational model of collaboration between design, product, and engineering across the entire ecosystem
- Lead and develop managers—Product Design Managers and the UX Research Manager—who lead their own teams of designers and researchers
- Implement and track metrics for the “health” of the design function: workload, performance, and quality
- Be responsible for budget planning and resource allocation for the design function, including ad-hoc requests
- Establish regular work rhythms: team sync sessions, cross-functional meetings, and reporting to the Design Director
- Collaborate with product leadership to align design capacity and focus with product roadmaps and strategic priorities
- Advocate for design at the leadership level, align cross-functional stakeholders, and resolve trade-offs in delivery and collaboration with product and engineering
- Develop a hiring plan and team structure necessary for the ecosystem’s growth
- Set operational goals for each design sub-function and develop a roadmap for the function’s growth

- Experience in product design or UX research—sufficient to have a meaningful conversation with practitioners
- Experience building or scaling design operations from scratch
- Familiarity with design systems and how they maintain consistency across a product ecosystem
- Experience working with OKRs or other goal-setting systems at the team or functional level
- Experience working on B2C products or in a SaaS environment
